Disable a delivery method on certain days

Limit a delivery method to specific days and times - or keep it available 24/7

A delivery method can be available 24/7, or only on the days and times you choose - handy for options that only run certain days (e.g. local delivery Mon–Wed) or services with day-specific cutoffs.

How to set it

  1. Go to Shipping Rate Groups and open the method (or Add delivery method).

  2. Scroll to Active Days & Times.

  3. Under Schedule, choose Custom instead of Always active (24/7).

  4. Set the days and time windows the method should be available. Times use your store's timezone.

  5. Save.

Example: set Monday–Wednesday only → the method appears at checkout on those days and is hidden the rest of the week.

Related controls in the same section

  • Turn off on holidays - hide the method on a chosen holiday calendar.

  • Daily order limit - auto-disable the method once it hits a set number of orders in a day.

  • Limit unfulfilled orders per method - cap based on your outstanding backlog: once this many orders on this method are still unfulfilled, the method is hidden until you fulfill some. Great for capacity-limited services (delivery slots, made-to-order)

Recurring vs. one-off: this schedule is for a repeating weekly pattern. For a one-off date range (e.g. a shutdown week), use Blackout Dates instead.
