Curious about the self-pickup delivery setup?
It's a great eco-friendly delivery option that gets local customers to come in to your store (and likely pick something else too!).
You can easily add in-store pickup into your delivery services.
Here's how:
Click the Delivery Services icon on the left-side menu
Click the Add delivery service button located in the top right corner
When the right-side popup appears, select the Ship From - Ship To locations. You can then either search for the delivery service in the Search Box or choose from the available options.
After setting that up, navigate to Delivery Methods on the left-side menu. Create a new Delivery Method by clicking Add Delivery Method.
Choose Domestic from the Delivery Method section.
Within the General Settings section, you can fill in the Internal Name (optional), provide a Name for the Delivery Method (e.g. “Local Pickup”), and Note on the Delivery Method (Available for pickup on the next business day from 12pm at 123 Main Street)
Head to the Geo Settings section, and there, opt for the "Create your custom delivery area" feature. From here, you have the choice to either
1. Draw your delivery area using the pen tool or
2. Input an address and distance to define the parameters of your delivery zone.
Utilizing the second option, input your warehouse address and specify the distance range (from/to).
As an example, if the range is configured as 0-60 miles, customers order to an address beyond this distance from your warehouse won't see the 'Local Pickup' delivery option.
Once you're done, just click Save.
That's it, you're all set!
