Our recently added Checkout Analytics Dashboard in PDQ gives you real-time insights into your checkout process. This powerful tool empowers you to monitor A/B test performance, make data-driven decisions, and optimize your online store’s performance. Here’s a step-by-step guide on accessing and reviewing the Analytics page.

Accessing the Analytics Dashboard

  1. Start by logging in

Start by logging into your PDQ store. On the left-side menu, you’ll now find a new tab labeled “Analytics Dashboard”.

2. In the side menu, click Analytics Dashboard:
There you'll see data about your checkout-to-delivery performance

Analyzing Checkout Metrics

  1. Select a time frame:

Enter a start and end date in the top left to view the data from that period.

2. Explore key metrics:

The Analytics page has many metrics, including:

  • Total Checkout Conversion

  • Average Order Value

  • Average Shipping Revenue

  • Number of Orders

3. Compare customer segments:

You can compare segments, for example: returning customers versus first-time buyers, and you can then analyze the number of orders versus abandoned carts among other stats.

4. Review shipping method insights:

You can look at the percentage of total orders based on shipping methods to glean valuable information on user preferences.

A/B Testing Comparison

Evaluate A/B test performance:

If you’re running an A/B test, easily compare the performance of variant A against B.

Metrics for A/B testing:

Evaluate checking conversion, number of checkouts, number of orders, average shipping revenue, and average order value for each variant.

Customer Type and Delivery Method Analysis

Compare Customer Types:

Understand how first-time customers perform compared to returning customers, based on the chosen delivery method.

Track Changes Over Time:

Keep a close eye on checkout conversion changes over time, especially during ongoing A/B tests.

Advanced Filters for Deeper Insights

Using filters:

You can use different filters to narrow your focus:

  • Filter by customer type (first-timers, returning customers, or both)

  • Filter by specific delivery methods

  • Filter by A/B testing variants

  • Filter by countries

Custom Reports:

Generate reports tailored to your specific needs, focusing on the metrics that matter most to your business.

In conclusion, the Checkout Analytics Dashboard is a powerful tool to make informed decisions, optimize your checkout process, and enhance the overall shopping experience for your customers. And stay tuned as we'll be enriching it regularly.
