How to set up and customize notifications

Never miss anything with PDQ's alerts

You can now get updated on changes within your PDQ account so you always stay on top of everything.

What will you be notified about?

Well that's up to you!

You can view your notifications by clicking on the Notification bell icon, right beside your Store Name and your Login information in the top right corner.

Customize your notification preferences by going to: Account settings -> Notifications.

Within the Notification window, select your preferences by clicking the checkbox ✔️ next to each notification to specify your desired alerts.

Choose how you'd like to be notified by selecting either In-app alerts, Email notifications, or both. Additionally, for In-app alerts, decide whether to include a sound 🔊 or keep it silent 🔇.

Here's a bit more about each notification option:

  1. New Order Placed - You'll be notified when a new order arrives to the Verify screen

  2. Order Flagged in Verification - Receive notifications for flagged orders on the Verify screen.

  3. Suggestion to Merge Orders - This notification option suggests you merge orders. This can be done from both Verify and Assign by clicking the Merge button.

  4. Order failed to assign - Receive notifications when you encounter obstacles preventing the assignment of an order to a carrier (e.g. not getting any rates due to the weight being out of allowable range and the carrier won’t accept the order)

  5. Order separated from batch and sent back to Assign - Receive notifications when a batch is separated in the Assign screen, which typically happens in a mixed batch where some orders are assigned and others require more attention in Assign.

  6. Fulfillment updates - Receive notifications when orders are updated in the Fulfill screen, whether it's partially fulfilled or completely fulfilled.

  7. Order fulfillment failed - Receive notifications if there is a failure while attempting to fulfill an item.

  8. An order’s status has been updated - Each order is assigned a status when flagged, with various potential reasons such as partial refunds, being on hold, or designated for pickup.

  9. Delivery might be late - Receive notifications whenever there is a possibility that an order might be delayed.

  10. Delivery arrived late - Receive notifications each time an order arrives later than expected.

11. You’ve been mentioned - Get notified when someone tags or mentions you in a Team note on the Assign screen.

12. You’ve been assigned a batch owner - Get notified whenever someone assigns you the role of batch owner, ensuring you're aware of your responsibilities.
