PDQ connects to Gorgias, Zendesk, Richpanel, and Gladly the same way: PDQ creates a task/ticket in your helpdesk when an order hits a status you care about (late, failed delivery, needs address fix), so support can act before the customer emails.
Before you begin
Admin permission in your helpdesk to create an API token.
Access to PDQ Settings → Integrations.
A designated inbox/queue for PDQ-created tickets (recommended, to keep them organized). For Gladly, create or choose a dedicated inbox specifically for PDQ tasks.
Step 1 - Create an API token in your helpdesk
Generate an API token (and note any required subdomain / agent email) in Gorgias, Zendesk, Richpanel, or Gladly. Copy it somewhere safe.
Gladly: generate the token for a specific Gladly user - see Gladly's guide to creating API tokens. The token's permissions are tied to that user, so make sure the user has access to the inbox from Before you begin.
Step 2 - Connect in PDQ
Go to Settings → Integrations, find your helpdesk, and click Connect. Enter the credentials (typically subdomain, agent email, API token) and select the destination inbox, then finish.
Step 3 - Activate recipes
Enable the recipes that should create tickets (e.g. LATE, FAILED_TO_DELIVER, FIX_ADDRESS). Nothing is created until at least one recipe is active - recipes control when and how tasks are created.
Troubleshooting
Tickets/tasks not appearing → confirm the correct inbox was selected, the token is active with the right permissions (for Gladly, that the associated user can access the inbox), and at least one recipe is enabled.
Firing on some orders only → check the recipe's conditions.
