You can show delivery promises on the product page without those methods appearing in checkout - by giving the PDP its own shipping rate group.
Why use it
Highlight a fast option on the PDP to boost conversion, without cluttering checkout.
Keep the PDP promise showing even when the checkout promise is off - e.g. if you hide the checkout promise on weekends, a PDP-only group lets the product page still show a date.
How it works
The PDP delivery-promise widget makes its own rate request, tagged as "product page only." If a shipping rate group carries the matching segment rule, the widget pulls from that group instead of your checkout group.
Set it up
In Shipping Rate Groups, create (or edit) a group for the PDP.
Add a segment rule: Source→ is → Product page only. This routes only the PDP widget's requests to this group.
Add the delivery methods you want shown on the PDP - these won't appear in checkout.
(Optional) Toggle off any methods in the group you don't want on the PDP.
Save. You can set rates, conditions, and fallback like any other group.
⚠️ Keep the dates consistent
Because this is a separate group, its delivery-promise settings (processing/transit days) are independent of your checkout group. If they differ, the PDP will show a different arrival date than checkout. Keep the PDP-only group's methods aligned with your checkout group's unless you intend them to differ.
