Reading your Test Results

Interpret a single A/B test's performance

On the Test Results tab, first select your test from Test Name (the tab is empty until you do). Then set the controls:

  • Segment - default is all checkouts from the shipping step.

  • Main KPI - e.g. Avg Revenue per Checkout (ARPC), PDQ's primary metric.

  • Lift Calculation Type - Absolute or relative.

  • Calculate for - Variant, etc.

  • Outliers - Include/exclude.

  • Gross/Direct - Gross or Direct Profit per Checkout (needs cost data).

You'll see start/end dates, duration, # of checkouts, and KPI cards (Revenue per checkout, Gross Profit per Checkout, Checkout conversion rate) each with statistical significance, plus a sequential chart and a test summary.

ARPC can be significant even when conversion and order value aren't individually - they combine (see CUPED). Test Results is the authoritative view for CUPED figures.
