Connecting an SMS platform (Postscript & Attentive)

Send PDQ shipping events to your SMS platform to power delivery texts

PDQ can send its shipping and delivery events to Postscript or Attentive, so your SMS flows can react to what's actually happening to an order - an "out for delivery" text, a proactive "running late" heads-up, or a "fix your address" nudge before the parcel ships.

Step 1 - Connect in PDQ

Go to Settings → Integrations, find Postscript or Attentive, click Connect, and paste the API key/credentials from that platform.

Step 2 - Turn on recipes

Connecting alone sends nothing. Add a recipe for each shipping status you want to send (Order placed, Out for delivery, Delivered, Late, Fix address, etc.) - the same event set documented in PDQ shipping events in Klaviyo. Active recipes appear under Your recipes.

Step 3 - Build the SMS flow

In your SMS platform, create a flow/automation triggered by the PDQ event. Great starting texts: Out for delivery, Late (biggest lever on WISMO), Fix address, Delivered.

The event model is identical to Klaviyo - see PDQ shipping events in Klaviyo for the full list of triggers and where to start.
