Reshipping an order

Send items out again - a replacement, a lost or damaged parcel, or a second box - without breaking the order's tracking

Reship when you need to send item(s) to the customer again - a lost or damaged shipment, a missing item, or a separate box - and keep everything tied to the original order.

Need the customer to send items back to you instead? See How to create a return label.

Step 1: Open the order on the Track screen

Reships are created from the Track screen (Deliver → Order Management → Track), after an order is fulfilled. Open the order and click Reship (top-right, next to Return)
.

Step 2: Select the items to reship

In Select products to reship, choose the item(s), the quantity, and a reason, then click Save.

Step 3: Set up the reship shipment

In the Create reship window:

  • Ship from - where the replacement ships from (your warehouse/origin; editable).

  • Ship to - the customer's address (from the dropdown).

  • Package - the package size for the reship.

  • Service - your preferred carrier and service level (e.g. USPS Ground Advantage).

  • Replace Original Tracking Number With New One - optional; swaps the order's tracking for the reship's new tracking number so you (and the customer) follow the replacement parcel.

Shipment extras (optional) - add carrier options for the reship, e.g. Require Signature On Delivery, Saturday Delivery, Can Be Left Outside By Door, Contains Hazardous Materials, Dry Ice, Carbon Neutral (UPS only), Cash on Delivery (UPS & FedEx), Third Party Billing, or AES ITN Code (USPS only), plus a weight field.

Step 4: Save

Click Save to create the reship. It appears under the Reships tab on the Track screen, where you can access the label.

Reship vs. Return: Reship sends items out to the customer (Ship from = your warehouse); Return brings items back to you (Return from = the customer). If an order is already labelled and you just need another parcel out, use Reship - don't send it back to Assign (which voids the original label).
