The Product Page delivery promise has three tabs - Settings, Configurations, Display Conditions - plus a live Preview. This article covers all the customization options.
1. Choose your Extension mode (Settings tab)
On the Settings tab (alongside your Token for Shopify, Internal Name, and Internal Description), pick an Extension mode:
Basic - simple setup: two ready-made blocks (Fastest / Cheapest).
Advanced - full control: build the promise block-by-block, reorder blocks, and add extras like a cut- off timer and trust signals.
The Configurations tab looks different depending on the mode you choose.
2. Basic mode - Configurations
Two independent blocks you can each toggle on:
Fastest delivery date (earliest arrival):
Don't show if arrival date is more than [X] days away
Show shipping cost - show the price next to the date
Show order cutoff timer - "order within Xh Ym for this delivery date"
Display Message - e.g.
Arrives on {arrival_date} to {address_input}Fallback Message - when no rate matches (e.g. "No expedited shipping options to your location")
Cheapest delivery date (lowest-cost option):
Don't show if expected delivery is more than [X] days
Show order cut-off timer
Show only free shipping + Free Shipping Threshold
Message for Free Shipping / Message for Cheapest Shipping — e.g.
Free shipping {arrival_date}
3. Advanced mode - Configurations (Components builder)
In Advanced mode, the Configurations tab becomes a Components builder - toggle each block on/off and drag to reorder:
Label - free text + icon above the promise (rich text; choose an icon or upload your own), e.g. "Estimated delivery."
Delivery date (required - always on):
Calculation Method - e.g. Fastest delivery date
Display Message - e.g.
Arrives by {arrival_date}Delivery Promise Format - Just Date or Date And Day
Fallback Message - when a date can't be calculated
Don't show if arrival date is more than [X] days away
Shipping method line - shows the method name + price, and can let shoppers switch it:
Price Display - e.g. "Show absolute shipping cost in brackets"
Allow Shopper To Change Shipping Method → pick Eligible Methods (at least one) + a Button Label (e.g. "Change")
Location input - zip or full-address entry for a personalized date:
Type (Full Address / Zip Code Only), empty-state description, field placeholder, button label + color, 'Delivering to' text, 'Change Address' link text, Default Address (fallback), Auto-detect location for guest visitors, error message + text color
Order cutoff timer - urgency countdown for same/next-day shipping:
Position - Linked To Delivery Date, or Standalone
Display message - e.g.
Order within {time_left}
Trust signals - up to 10 custom checkmark rows (e.g. "Free returns within 30 days," warehouse info)
+ Line separator - add dividers between blocks
Display Conditions (both modes)
On the Display Conditions tab, set Hide conditions: "Hide widget if all conditions are true" → Add Rule Group. Use this to hide the promise for specific products or shoppers - e.g. pre-order / backorder / made-to-order items (by SKU or product tag), or by destination / zip. Conditions in one group are AND-ed; add another group for OR.
5. Preview & publish
Use Preview (Desktop/Mobile) with a test zip to check the layout, and toggle Preview in test mode to see it live on your store, hidden from customers. Then Save.
Dynamic tokens: {arrival_date}, {address_input}, {time_left}.
